Sonoff Dual R3 - Dual Wi-Fi Smart Switch with Electric Blinds Control and Energy Metering

The DUAL R3 is a smart dual switch module with relays that can be controlled via Wi-Fi, via mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets, but can also be controlled with voice commands via Siri or other virtual assistants such as Alexa or Google Assistant.

This smart switch is designed to be installed behind switches, in a junction box or on a DIN rail and allows you to remotely control (via Wi-Fi) your lights, blinds or other electrical devices.

Additionally, this module has an energy monitoring function that allows you to determine the energy consumption of the devices to which it is connected. In this mode, it does not function as a switch, it always remains on and stops responding to on/off commands.
The DUALR3 then has three operating modes: dual switch mode, motor mode and meter mode.

One of the typical applications of motor mode is the intelligent control of motorized blinds and curtains.
In addition to being able to open/close them remotely (whether you are inside or outside the house), it also allows you to program events, such as automatically closing at a certain time and opening at another time.

The DUALR3 is designed to work with a variety of switches. This means that if you don’t have your smartphone with you or for some reason you don’t have a Wi-Fi network, you can still control this smart switch.
