The Shelly BLU Door/Window is a Bluetooth-enabled sensor designed to detect the opening and closing of a door or window, but it can also measure the tilt angle of a tilting window. It also has a light sensor.
To use it, this sensor will need to be within Bluetooth signal range of a Shelly device that has Bluetooth Gateway enabled (Shelly Plus and Pro series products have this functionality).
This device uses a small CR2032 battery and is significantly smaller than Wi-Fi based sensors.
You can activate Beacon Mode, which allows you to send data periodically (every 30 seconds) indicating the status (open/closed), the angle of inclination, the lighting and the battery status. This mode can be a form of extra security, as it informs you that the sensor is working correctly. If, for some reason, the sensor stops working, you can send a notification informing you that something is wrong or trigger an automatic action on another device.
