Description
The Shelly DALI Dimmer Gen3 is a gateway device between the Shelly ecosystem and a lighting network based on the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) protocol. It can control DALI-compatible light sources (containing compatible drivers), providing a simple solution for managing sophisticated lighting systems such as conference rooms, retail spaces, hospital operating rooms and more.
Experience predictable and repeatable control of DALI light intensity, with additional features for easy maintenance. Seamless integration with Shelly external sensors or input controls enhances and automates the usability of your home or workspace.
A DALI lighting network, enhanced with the Shelly DALI Dimmer Gen3, offers exceptional flexibility for both retrofit installations and new builds. Notably, in a new build, a DALI ecosystem eliminates the need for traditional lighting control circuits, simplifying the wiring process and increasing overall efficiency. Retrofitting a DALI system into an existing installation is also possible and provides advanced lighting control, although it does not fully leverage the benefits of the DALI system, which offers more efficient and simplified wiring, as the existing control circuits are already in place.
In terms of DALI systems, the Shelly DALI Dimmer is a single-master application controller, which supports LED (Part 207) drivers and does not share the bus with other DALI application control devices.
This device can be accessed, controlled and monitored remotely, from anywhere where the user has Internet access, as long as it is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the Internet.
It has an integrated web interface that can be used to monitor and control the device, as well as adjust its settings.
