Description

Get real-time insights into the energy consumption of up to 2 circuits* or electrical devices and control a contactor - or a small load (2A) - with Shelly EM Gen3.

By monitoring your energy consumption, you can discover patterns that reveal opportunities for energy savings, as well as detect warning signs, such as unexpected spikes or unforeseen changes in energy usage, which could be signs of a malfunctioning electrical appliance, allowing you to maintain efficiency, avoid interruptions or even prevent serious damage.

In addition to accurate energy measurement, Shelly EM Gen3 also allows you to control contactors to turn on/off high-power appliances such as water heaters, hot tubs, heat pumps, large kitchen appliances, etc. This way, you can save energy by automatically turning off non-essential appliances when they are not needed, maximizing your savings.

Being a 3rd generation device (Gen3), this module is equipped with a Shelly Chip, with double the memory (8 MB), greater efficiency and better responsiveness (compared to the Plus series). It is effectively prepared for a possible future inclusion of the Matter protocol and the integration of additional smart functionalities.
